When it’s time to prepare remarks for a trade show audience, do you always take the same approach? If so, you may be missing an opportunity to engage.
Hi, and welcome to the Bartizan blog. All this month, we’re talking about giving speeches.
Not every trade show on your schedule will have the same audience makeup. Thinking about the general level of industry involvement and expected familiarity with your company in advance could help you prepare ideal remarks to win the audience over and hold interest.
If the attendees you’re set to address will likely be very familiar with your business’s offerings, you can skip some introduction and not bore them. If they are new to you, a few lines of explanation can keep them from becoming confused or disinterested. Either way, considering the crowd makeup can pay off.
Thanks for watching, and join us next time for more speaking tips.
